Your phone opens for anyone holding it.Your vault doesn't.
Keep private photos, videos and files inside an app that looks like any other, and really works. Only you know it's there. Only you can open it.
Coming soon to iPhone and Android
On top, an ordinary app. Underneath, your vault.
Everything you keep is encrypted the moment it comes in, and stays on your phone. No server ever sees it, because there is no server.
- No account
- No cloud
- No tracking
- No subscription
- Every protection free
- Encrypted on your phone
The problem
Your phone holds the things you would never show anyone. Photos. Screenshots. Documents. And it opens for whoever is holding it: a partner who knows your code, a friend who borrows it, a stranger who takes it.
Hiding a folder isn't hiding. It still says it's there.

One of these apps keeps a secret. Can you find it?
Every phone has apps nobody looks at twice. With VaultSec, one of yours keeps everything you'd never show, and looks exactly like the rest.
- Nobody can tell it's there
- Only you can open it
- No account, no cloud, no tracking
Whoever picks up your phone

Two doors, and only one is real
If someone at home insists, you can show them something harmless. What's really yours stays shut away.

Hand it over. Nothing to see
Put the phone down or switch away and VaultSec looks ordinary again, on the instant. Nobody can tell anything was there.

Half the key never leaves this phone
Your PIN only works together with this phone's security chip. A copy of the phone opens nothing, anywhere.

Quiet, and out of sight
Nothing on the phone says “vault”. Your things live inside an everyday app that does exactly what it looks like.
The twelve-second short
A hidden folder says it's there. VaultSec doesn't.
| A hidden folder | VaultSec | |
|---|---|---|
| What others see | A folder called Hidden or Locked | An ordinary app that really works |
| If someone insists | You open it, or you refuse | A decoy PIN opens a harmless vault |
| If the phone is copied | Protected by the phone passcode | Sealed by your PIN and the phone chip |
| When you switch apps | Open until you lock it | Locks the same instant |
| Your account | Often synced to the cloud | No account and no cloud |
Every protection is in the free version

A decoy, if you're pushed
If someone makes you open it, show them a harmless vault you don't mind them seeing. The real one stays out of reach.

It closes itself
Lock the phone or switch away and it's ordinary again: instantly, no questions asked.

Only you hold the key
Not us, not the phone maker, not someone who copies your phone. Without you, there is no key at all.

Know if someone tried
If someone tries to get in, you'll see when. They'll never see what you keep.

Photos that skip the gallery
Take a picture that never appears in your camera roll. It goes straight to where only you can see it.

Open it at a glance
Use Face ID or your fingerprint, once you've shown it's you since the phone started.

Backups only you can open
Move to a new phone without leaving a spare key anywhere. Your backup opens only for you.

Share with people you trust
Send private photos to up to 8 people you've met in person. Only they can open them.

A moment's grace
Step out for a second and come straight back, without starting over. Off unless you want it.
- 0servers that hold your files
- 0trackers, ads or analytics
- 256-bitAES encryption on every file
- 1key: your PIN, on your phone
Built for the worst day, not the average one
VaultSec is designed against two real threats: someone holding your unlocked phone, and someone copying everything on it.
Encrypted on arrival
Every file is sealed with AES-256-GCM under its own key the moment it comes in, and is never written back out in plain form. (A photo from the in-vault camera exists unsealed for an instant, because the phone's camera writes it first; VaultSec seals it and deletes the plain copy in one step.)
No account, no cloud
VaultSec makes no network connections. There is no server holding your data, a copy of it, or a key to it.
Nothing says “vault”
On disk, files and settings carry ordinary names, and are excluded from iCloud and computer backups.
No tracking, at all
No analytics, no crash reports, no advertising IDs, no notifications. We cannot see who uses VaultSec.

Frequently asked
Is VaultSec really free?
Yes. Every protection works in the free version, for up to 100 items. Unlimited is a single purchase that only removes the cap. There are no ads.
What happens if I forget my PIN?
The vault cannot be opened, by you or by us. There is no recovery service by design. Keep your PIN somewhere safe, and keep a current encrypted backup.
Can you see my photos or files?
No. They never leave your phone, and VaultSec has no servers. We could not hand them over to anyone, because we never have them.
What if someone forces me to open it?
You can set up a decoy: a separate, harmless vault that looks real. It never reveals or erases the real one.
How do I open it?
That stays between you and your phone: VaultSec shows you when you set it up. We don't publish it here, so nobody who reads this page learns it either.
Will it show up as “VaultSec” on my phone?
On your home screen it looks like an ordinary app you choose, with its own name and icon. Your app store's purchase history will still list VaultSec.
What happens when I get a new phone?
Make an encrypted backup, move the file to the new phone, and restore it with your Primary PIN.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. VaultSec never connects to the internet. Only the one-time purchase goes through Apple or Google.
When can I get it?
VaultSec is coming soon to iPhone and Android. This page will link to both stores on launch day.
